For two days in July, the unique Lass O'Gowrie pub in Manchester will be transformed into retro gaming central, with numerous classic arcade machines, computers and consoles playing host to a variety of competitions.

We're also planning a group trip to the Videogame Nation exhibition at the nearby Urbis museum on Sunday morning (time TBC) and hosting the Homebrew Coding Geekend, a meeting of some of the sharpest minds in the homebrew programming and independent game developer community.
