Regular Retrovision attendee and YakYak forum member Beerman of Beercave Software has created a great homebrew retro-styled game called Markies Revenge.
The aim of Markies Revenge is very simple. Guide the Sheepie to stay alive as long as possible and don't get killed by the green Markie Ming heads! The controls are also very simple, pressing space bar to start the game and move around the screen by using the arrow keys on the keyboard. You can also drink Beer and eat Curry to increase your score, but these also have realistic effects!

The game will be left running on a PC throughout Saturday in the pub where you are free to have as many goes as you like (but please take it turns if there are other people waiting to play). If you make it to the high score table please enter your handle or a name we can individually identify you by. The winner with the highest score will receive a free ticket to attend Retrovision next year and some free beer courtesy of The Lass O'Gowrie!
Retrovision is a yearly retro gaming weekend which takes place in a pub (much like Console Combat) and involves gaming, food, drink and fun. The next event is being held on the 5th, 6th and 7th February 2010 at the Folly Bridge Inn in Oxford. Tickets are limited and will be available to purchase at Console Combat.
